Hi there! I’m Captain Tabbytha, leading the Oasis Team. My journey hasn’t been easy—I lost my nose after seeking warmth in a car engine when I was just a tiny kitten on the streets. But I’m a survivor, and I found my way to Shadow Cats in 2017. Today, I’m here to educate everyone about the dangers of outdoor life and the importance of safe, loving indoor homes.

At Oasis, we’re all about making sure cats are protected from the risks of outdoor life, and we advocate for equal access to the “extras” too—like catnip for all felines! We also stand for early spay/neuter and affordable healthcare because we believe every cat deserves to live a healthy, happy life.

 

We’re in a friendly competition with the other teams here at Shadow Cats, and we need your help to show that Oasis is the best of the best! Your donation will be put to great use, helping us continue our mission to keep cats safe and loved.

About the Event

Shadow Cats on Parade is a major fundraising event at Shadow Cats. The purpose is to raise critical funds for the special needs and hospice cats at the Sanctuary in a fun and entertaining way. 

The cats at Shadow Cats live in five different areas of the Sanctuary. (Cookie’s Place, Cookie’s Annex, Harmony, Wild Side and Oasis) Each area and the cats within that area are engaging in a ‘mostly’ friendly competition going head-to-head to raise crucial funds. Each room has its own team captain and mission, and they’re all working hard to be named “Best of the Best!”.   The cat area that raises the most wins their very own Kitty Party, complete with treats and toys and they get bragging rights!  Read more about each area by clicking on each room.

Your donations to any given room helps that area to win!  All donations provide medical care, daily necessities, and the support these special cats need to thrive throughout the Sanctuary.

So which kitty is it?  Pick your favorite, get in their corner, make a donation, and cheer them on as they work to be the top team at the Sanctuary!

I am supporting Team Oasis. Not only is it a well known fact that I love Tabbytha, the team captain. But I also adopted Emerson, who is an Oasis alumnus. Oasis is a particularly special place, a real home that sets the stage for anyone coming to visit the sanctuary. And it's home to some particularly special kitties.

 

Join me in supporting Shadow Cats by contributing to Team Oasis. The team that earns the most will win a kitty party and I would love for Tabbytha and her friends to get that celebration ... and I promise, Emerson will have his own party as well if we win.
