October is here!  And along with it our second annual “Shadow Cats on Parade!”  As you may know, this is the annual event  that takes the place of the now defunct Strut Your Mutt that was always a cornerstone to our past fundraising.❤  The cats say they are tired of strutting and they weren’t so keen on creating parade floats either, so this year they’ve got it down!  This year, they had a sanctuary wide meeting  which included all the cats and areas of Shadow Cats; Cookie’s Place, Cookie’s Annex, the Oasis, Harmony Place and the Wild Side, and each area picked a Team Captain and decided they would see which area of Shadow Cats was the most awesome and who could raise the most funds to continue the amazing work of Shadow Cats.  The cause remains the same- to help special needs and hospice cats and to support cats in the community.   We know that with dedicated supporters like you, we will continue to help the ones that fall through the cracks, to be their safe harbor.

So do you have a favorite area or cats at Shadow Cats?  Does the playfulness of Cookie’s Place call to you? Or perhaps the edginess of the Wild Side?  Perhaps somewhere in between such as the Oasis, Harmony or the Annex?  If you do, then please donate and support that cat or that room and help them win the Shadow Cats on Parade Showdown!  Did we mention that whichever team raises the most funds will win an amazing Kitty Party naming them the "Best of the Best!" They’ll get to enjoy their favorite treats and food, lots of volunteers and attention and generally be crowned the Cat’s Meow!  Don’t let your favorite kitty area get left out of this big kitty prize!   Can't decide which area you love best?  You can donate to multiple rooms and maybe add a bit more to the room you absolultely can't say "no" to.  No one will know:)
